Joan Marie Laurer (Chyna) – Overdose
Joan Marie Laurer, nicknamed Chyna in the wrestling world, was a very successful athlete during the peak of her career. She was once announced as The Ninth Wonder Of The World, thanks to her accomplishments. But as you can imagine, this lifestyle took its toll on both her physical and mental health.
The bodybuilder and glamour model started to have problems with substance abuse around the time she was dating fellow wrestler, Sean Waltman. The couple had an issue with a leaked adult video of theirs, as well as their problematic on-off relationship. Even though Chyna was trying to piece her life back together, she was still suffering from mental illness. She was found dead in her California home, her death was caused by an overdose of prescription medication. She passed away on April 20th, 2016, at the age of 46.
