Michael Jackson and Bubbles
The King of Pop was an undeniably eccentric person, so it comes as no surprise that his favorite pet turned out to be a chimpanzee. Bubbles came into the Jackson family in 1988, at the age of 5. He was rescued from a research clinic and stayed with the singer until 2003. While Bubbles seemingly lived a happily domesticated life, he eventually matured into an adult, retained his wild side, and had to be relocated. He outlived his owner and currently resides in the Center for Great Apes in Florida.
