King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan
The marriage of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan seems like the perfect fairytale example. The couple met in 1992 at a dinner party and wed the next year. Prince Abdullah II became King in 1999, and together with his doting wife, they are celebrated and loved all over the world for their charitable actions and activism. King Abdullah II has a wide array of responsibilities: he commands the Jordanian Armed Forces, appoints the prime minister and he is the general head of state, of course. Queen Rania is always at his side, supporting him while partaking in her own advocacy work. They are the proud parents of four beautiful children: Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, Princess Salma, and Prince Hashem.
