Burrowing Asp
This venomous, secretive snake lives underground feeding on rodents and smaller reptiles. What makes this creature so deadly is its ability to bite and inject venom while their mouth is closed! It lowers the bottom jaw to expose its fangs through the side of its mouth. Even the most experienced snake handler would be no match for the Burrowing Asp. Unfortunately, it is often confused with harmless burrowing snakes, so if you can’t properly identify a snake, then best to give it a wide berth.
