First Brush With Death
During the first 32 years of his life, everything was pretty uneventful for him. But on a fateful day during the winter of 1962, everything changed. He was traveling to Dubrovnik by train when a mechanical failure occurred along the tracks. The train was derailed and nothing could stop it from plunging into the nearby river. Many passengers lost their lives, but Frane survived with just a broken arm! He reportedly swam ashore, and while this seemed like a miracle on its own, this was just the beginning.
He had no time to rest during the next 40 years, for sure!
