Axl Rose, 58 – Extra Pounds
The face of Axl Rose that was known to the younger generations of the 80s has changed over the years, due to the constant travel, long hours on stage and poor diet that came with his soaring career as the frontman of the Guns N ‘Roses. He steered clear of drugs though, even though they are popular among those in his field. Rose said to his band members in 1989, that if any of them were using drugs, he would leave the group and thus end Guns N ‘Roses. A brave move on his part. He had a trying childhood with abusive father(s). He was raised under the name Bailey and only found out that his birth name was Rose when he was 17. With such a troubling start, he put a lot of emphasis on working on his mental health, thus maybe not making his diet a priority.
